Taylor Kiser GNCC Round #13 "THE IRONMAN" Race Report
After the St. Clairsville Ohio event I headed back down to Florida to continue my training regimen. While home I was also able to compete in an FTR race the week before the Ironman. I headed north the week prior to the last race of 2009 with one goal in mind; to finish as close to the front as possible. I knew that if I could put together a solid race I would earn the number two plate for the 2010 season...
Taylor Kiser ITP Power Line Park GNCC Round #12 Race Report
I was looking forward round twelve in hopes of putting in a great race; although the weather was expected to make for a muddy track it turned out nice on Saturday! Although a lot of the mud had been cleared out by the morning race in my mind I knew this course would be very slick and I made it a point to focus on getting a good start and keeping momentum. I had a decent jump off the line and was able to head into the woods in the fourth place position.
Taylor Kiser GNCC Round #10 Unadilla Race Report
Over Summer Break I decided to not take too much time off in hopes of coming closer to my first National championship. With four rounds remaining in 2009 it is very important to put in solid races with good finishes. I raced in many local events up North, traveled to France to compete with Bill Ballance and Brandon Sommers in the Point De Vaux and trained extensively in my spare time. Heading to Unadilla...
Taylor Kiser Wiseco John Penton GNCC Race Report
After the Somerset race I decided to head north to continue my training regimen in anticipation of the last half of the season. I spent many hours training and a lot of time focusing on my suspension and quad setup. Needless to say I headed into the Penton feeling more confident than ever. Saturday morning the weather was nearly perfect and as I headed to the line I was anxious to get the race underway.
Jennifer Albright 3rd at the Wiseco John Penton GNCC – Millfield, OH
Round 8 of the Can Am GNCC Series was the weekend of redemption for the JG Off Road / GEICO / Monster Energy Kawasaki team in Millfield, OH. The weather was hot and the team even hotter - after a rocky finish in Somerset, PA just 3 weeks ago, the team was fired up to get back up to the top. Jennifer Albright headed out onto the just about perfect track Saturday morning on a mission for a podium finish...
Taylor Kiser's GNCC Rd #7 Race Report
Somerset Pennsylvania is the home of Round seven of the GNCC series. In past years the Somerset track has been known to be extremely rocky in sections yet wide open and fast in others.
Saturday morning we arrived to track early and with no rain I prepared for a tough dusty race. When the 10 second call was made I focused on putting in a smooth ride. My reaction to the green flag was great....
Jennifer Albright GEICO Powersports Weekend Warrior Titan GNCC Race Report
Jennifer had a good jump off the start, heading into the woods in the top five and by the end of the first lap had moved into the 2nd place position. On the 2nd lap Albright came in for a splash of gas and to get new gloves and goggles and was quickly back out on the track to charge for the lead. Throughout the course of the day, Albright, Cecco, and Atwell swapped positions...
Taylor Kiser XC1 Pro #6 GNCC Round #5
Coming off a rough race in South Carolina I was eager to get things under way at Loretta Lynn's. This track can be very challenging but heading to the line I was confident in myself and my machine. I got a great jump off the line which put me in position to get the holeshot. But, I got tangled with another rider in the first corner allowing most of our class to go around. It was not...
Taylor Kiser - XC1 Pro #6 GNCC Round #4 – Pirelli Big Buck Race Report
Big Buck has always been a good track for my riding style so I was looking forward to a great weekend of racing. As the green flag went up I got a great jump out of the hole and headed to the first corner. As we hit the holeshot line I was second behind Bill Ballance; this is where I rode comfortably for the first lap. I gained the lead early in lap number two; I felt comfortable and everything was flowing well...
