QS#3 Myakka

So…we are in full swing of the FTR Quad Scramble series and Phil and I cannot be more excited to be racing closer to home but more importantly with all of our long time FRIENDS!! SADRA put on another great event in Myakka…

The weather shaped up to be beautiful for a day of racing and seeing all the kids lined up had me pumped!!! Everyone came around to cheer on the young racers – they are all great sports and are improving EVERY race!!! Last minute pep talks were being held and machines were being warmed up in anticipation of the race - the riders were anxiously awaiting the horn…




They were off and flying through the first turn and into the woods…the racing was as exciting as ever and everyone lined the course to watch the action unfold!












Seth Brown is again on the gas this year – bringing home another win in the Super PeeWee A class while Brandon Frazier showed he has the speed winning the Super PeeWee B class!!!! All of the riders did an amazing job this past weekend…I cannot wait to see them all line up in 2 weeks!!!!!!!

All of the racing was exciting – Neal McGrath won the Junior class with Thomas Rickman and Cody Ellison rounding out the top three. Phil tried his hand with a utility (thanks to Josh Fronckowiak) - he still has the smile on his face!! Amanda won her second race of the season with Jessica Hullfish racing hard – placing second.




One of the most exciting classes to watch is the Vet +30 class…three races with three different winners!! Luis Campos brought home a win this past weekend…I expect this class and the final year end points will be decided on the last event!


Brian Kopec brought home the win in the 30+ A class with David Bailey finishing second. Congrats to Brian Morris on his win…and speaking of “Brian’s” – Brian Vis should get an award for being out there cheering on EVERYONE of the competitors this weekend – we all know how it pumps you up during a race!!! Thanks Brian!!!!!


All in all it was a great day…full of the fun we have all become addicted to!! It was great seeing everyone…looking forward to the next one – this event will ROCK!!!!!!
