Had a good start...into the woods fourth...I had gotten stuck in the 3rd lap...but recovered..geting back to 5th or 6th (not sure)...and then I went to shift and couldn't - I obviously hit something and it mangled my shifter. My day was over enuff: enuff:
Congrats to Taylor on yet another great ride!jump2:
Jen how are you sitting in woman's points??
I think taylor is sitting at #15 in The top 20 right now too.

I am currently in 6th...ash:... BUT... the damage to my quad is far worse than we anticipated. So, it is going to make it impossible for us to make the last 2 rounds. :o
Phil and I have had a blast this year and we learned a ton! As we all know...this sport is expensive and when something "major" happens - it can set ya back.
We will be giving the 2007 GNCC Series a shot...and in-between I hope to work my way towards the "A" class of FTR!!eyebrows:
Good Luck to Taylor in the last 2 rounds!!jump2:

Awwee...that is SO nice of you...
See...we would rather not put Phil's motor in and go...and hold off on my quad being fixed. Then if something were to happen to Phil's motor we are really in a bind. And we are both looking forward to FTR...my motor has to be fixed and we would rather do it now than wait till later.
My motor has many issues right now...and unfortunately we can't fix the motor and travel to the next two races. We talked about it and agreed that it is best this way for right now...it is not easy...believe me!! Especially with mine and Phil's competitive spirit...so...we will keep smiling and get ready for next year!...we will be running the full GNCC season...on an 07 YFZ450!
Just a brief descrip: Phil was right...the motor was overheating..and it did so..."In expensive fashion". I hit something in the mud that mangled my shifter, busted the case, and ruined my transmission. I was able to be pulled back into the pits with the quad stuck in gear - so we knew something was wrong with the transmission.
Also...it got VERY hot due to the mud and conditions...so hot that almost all is ruined. It will need valves, Crank, Rod, Piston, Cylinder, Cases, and transmission parts...so it is a costly repair...
If a spare motor was all that was "needed" then we would be good to go...but it is just more involved than we even thought and financially tough to pull off both the travel / race / and repair costs.
We will see you at the races!!!

i would offer you my cannondale, but i am sure that the pure power might make you ride nervous and get yourself hurt....:p

Sorry to heard those bad news Jen and Phil, I'm sure you will do a great job next season !!!!
See you at the races
