Ok, as it says. I have a 06 yfz with a 05 yfz axis shock with the houser XC linkage.

Since the 06 stock shock is longer than the stock 05, how is this comparing now that I am running a 05 long travel shock?

Reason asking, my rear feels like it bottems out too much for its own good and I still have my rear stock 06 that I can send out to get revalved and resprung from GT thunder.

Is it worth to sell the 05 style axis and replace it with a 06 GT thunder rebuild?

Thanks.

I would take a GT Thunder rework over an off the shelf Axis any day. But why not send Laz the Axis shock and let him rework that?

Better yet, sell it, buy a bike and come race one of the 35 events FTR has for bikes this year. LOL

Fred, did you adjust the compression setting any? Mine bottomed out a few times more than I thought was right and 1-2 clicks on the compression fixed that.
I sent my stocker in and had Laz do his magic. I also bought the XC linkage. I would reccommend that, too.
