I was trying to make it there saturday. But I had to search all over town to find me a pair of boots and didnt get to make it down till saturday. Seen some aftermath of some of the quads there covered in Mudd. And it was misty raining all morning sunday so had me lil worried. I was thinking HARDROCK all over again.

I didn't get to run it. Had a baby (the wife did that is) on the 4th and it's been kinda hectic around here. Hopefully I'll make the December race. I haven't run one since your endurance race and I'm jones'n to get back in the woods.

I know you race on Sunday but do you usually get there on Saturday? If so I'll stop by or if you see me, yell at me! I want to get some info on your next Florida race.

So how did you and your new boots do?

I try to get there on friday but the last couple of races I haven't been able to. I thought I did pretty well considering im still pretty new to this. Got 10th and I think I would have done alot better if I didnt spend 2 min in a mud hole watching people go right by and then another 2 min after I stalled out trying to get that 250 F restarted. You work so hard you think to get so far just for something small to stumble you and watch all that work to p*** go right on by.

If anyone is looking for new boots the new ALPINESTAR VECTORS are the way to go. These by far are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I would reccommend them to anyone.

Speaking of Dec race know any storage areas that are secure that doesnt require a long rent. I would like to haul the trailer down there for venice and suncoast and okeechobee race without having to haul it all the way back up to jacksonville just to go all the way back down there couple weeks later.

CONGRATS on the new one you got the baby its first bike yet? Comon where hitting the month mark and they gotta be riding soon

LOL I've been there man! Takes all the energy out of ya gettin the scooter unstuck, but for me, as soon as I'm back on it, I'm pumped and on a mission to get my spots back that I lost! If I could only be that pumped up on the starts I probebly would have won one of them things by now.

Thanks for the tip on the boots. That may be my next choice. I've got tech 8's now and haven't been real impressed with them for the money that they cost. Good protection but they're just to bulky.

If you don't find a place to drop your camper let me. Your more than welcome to keep it at my place. I've got plenty of room.

I hear ya! No bike yet, but I'm working on getting the car seat strapped down to the EX! I'll let you know how that goes.:D
