Last race, WHOS GOING???

Well its the last race of the FTR season, just wondering who's going to be there. I already have it off. But by what I understand alot of people arent going. As of yesterday Mike and David arent going. Mark are you going?? I know Paul is, what about Jen and Phil? Pete?? Its going to be about 5.5 hour drive for me, and I have to work friday and dont get off till 6. Wouldnt be bad if I had all day saturday to travel and race at 3 but we have to be there at the crack of dawn to sit and wait.

I dont know guys talk me into going. I really want to but the drive and ride time and lack of racers are kinda detering me.

Paul, remeber my idea of TIRE BALLS, well im going to give it a shot this weekend when I break this new motor in just to see if it works. :D

Ill let you all know how it goes and fill you in after I try it.

I find 2 more and that might be where I might go. Hell might just go race the 6 hours myself. No better way to ready for WISP than to ride for 6 hours in a race.

For me its only 2.5 hours away. Get 3 times the ride. Just dont know, I have friday saturday sunday monday off. So either north or south

Doug I have input.
We are all heading down Fri to camp out.
We wont get there till late either I have to work till atleast 6.
We staying over Sat night too.
On sunday we are doing the airboat thingy thing.
Oh and drink a few beers Sat night too.
Im almost positive Mark and family coming down too.
He has that new 450r he wants to race.

Ah man just suck it up and come. Dont bring the camper so you can make better time.


Oh and let me know how that tireball idea works out....It did sound like good idea.

I'm planning on it. I'm going to try and get the bike broke in this weekend and hopefully my parts will start showing up by the middle of next week. From the 15-20 minutes that I've had on this thing I can tell you that it's night and day from a 400 and I'd like to see how it does in a race. I don't want to wait till next season to find out so I'm going to do all I can to make it.

bring that joker to Sand Mt. on Sat. gonna ride the trails and play awhile....... What kinda goodies ya gonna get for that bad boy??? I understand that the Sparks and Duncan pipes are awesome for the 450R..... I also have read that the Sparks drop in cam offers more bottom/mid. than the HRC power up cam..... which offers a little more mid/top power..... I also have read that the White Bros. Carbon Pro system kicks butt, but that joker is like $850........ yikes........ Open up the airbox and jet that baby... It will kick booty.......

Yea I know about the points thing,I'm in like tenth place,so I really don't care about points.The ones I finished I got 3 seconds and 2 thirds.The guys I race with now will be in A next year so I figure I might just go now to see how I do.Hopefully there will be an AA next year and taylor and mike will be in AA.If no AA then I guess i'll just have to get better.

Well - I have to put my .02 in, we all know about Phil and how fast he is...I have tried to keep his dust in sight on many weekend rides!!! I told him he should go and run A next race, I think he would do better than he thinks!!! If only one day I could be as fast as he is!!! :rolleyes:

As for me - being a sandbagger...Last time I checked I am a GIRL!!! Therefore I have the right to run a gender class!!! LoL!!!Although, Phil has told me that I do not have a choice involving the "Women's Class"next year, the only choice I have is whether to run B or C?????? Come on Doug...I would be a stressball if I jumped right into B!!! ;)


Who knows...if I get faster over the summer then I MIGHT run the B class. I have told Phil that he is going to have to help me out ...there is still lots to learn(but I know he won't teach me everything...LoL!!!)

So...Doug - You gonna make it to the race or not??????

Phil make sure you bring your tool box and air. You know me always needing something from you.

I have deemed for next year I am going to actually be ready for the B class. Goals this summer are to get 4-6 hours of seat time a week.

Whats nice about the place we do ride is it will beat the crap out of you in 1 hour so need to get my endurance up to 2. So it gives me something to work towards. Also atleast once a month im going to go riding with Mike or David or come down and see Phil and Jen. Cant get faster unless you ride with faster people.

As long as UPS doesn't go on strike I'll be there. I'm mainly just needing my nerf bars and backgrounds. They should be here by the middle of next week.

I haven't decided on a pipe yet. I'm going to wait and see where all of this sound testing stuff leads to but I do like the looks of that cam. But the cam is going to have to wait until I figure what pipe. :confused:
