I just wanted to come on here and say what I tell everyone at the work place -CYCLE GEAR- and everywhere else, what a great bunch of people I get to meet and race with every other weekend. Not only race with I have found out, ALL the ATV community it seems is so family oriented it's unreal.

I have raced big cars (Sprints/Late Models/Modifieds/Street Stocks) with organizations like the World of Outlaws/AllStar Circut of Champions/HavaTampa LM and tracks from Tampa to Indiana to Texas and have NEVER came across a more genuine group of people like I have that ride or race a quad... I know and am sure that there are assholes that ride...guess I haven't had the privilege to meet them in the last year of riding....(really hope I'm totally wrong on that one)!!

Just to give you an example...At Mayakka City last race my wife race's a ute and was leading her class when she dumped it in the creek bed and was under water for a brief moment...She thinks it was Jennifer Albright that stopped and got off her quad to make sure she was ok, then others showed up and it took 2 quads and about 10 people to get her quad out of the creek bottom...afterwards they check all the fluid levels and calmed her down and told her to get back in the saddle and ride.(which she did).

another incident was when she was coming out of one of the creek passes, got hung up and a fellow racer got off of his and said his wife got hung up her and someone stopped to help her so he was returning the favor....

I could go on and on but I think you all see the picture...we all are out there to enjoy this very short life while we are here on this earth and for aleast a couple of days we can forget about all our troubles and enjoy OUR LIFE!!!!!.....life is way to short so if you can't enjoy every minute of it at least take time every other week and enjoy a few hours of it.

Again thanks all of YOU for your kindness and help and I relish the opportunity when I can return the favor.... :wWayne Davis (Southern Outlaw)

I do not think you would EVER fit that description Brian....cheers:

Wayne...very nice post and what you said is why Phil and I became addicted to this "crazy" sport to begin with. The friends (who have now become family ;)), the quality time with one another, the comaraderie, etc. It is what makes ATV riding special. It takes a certain person to race and another kind of person to race cross country and we all share that bond. In the end we are there for one another :D

I was not the one who helped your wife...but I CAN tell you I was in the trail cheering for her!!!!

Life is to short and the memories will out weigh everything when we get older and are pushing each other around in wheel chairs - lol lolhammer: (At least that is what I tell Phil...at the rate I am going he will be pushing me around LONG before he needs assitance - LOL) rofl:

HA-HA-HA!
Wayne, Brian Vis is one of the nicest people you'll meet. Don't let him scare you. Unless he is racing!! Then-be afraid. Be very afraid.
Jen, you and Phil will be racing each other around in those carts for old people!!
