went on a few job interviews, both for welding, these people have got to be kidding, they are looking for a "quality" tig welder for stainless tubing for high end boats. (hand railing, handles, that kinda thing) they were very happy with my welding test and said i could start whenever i needed to, then they tell me its for $10.00 hr, i told them i will just about make that on unemployment, then he tells me how they are having a difficult time keeping tig welders .... no sh** pay them what they are worth and they might stick around.... needless to say.... i am still looking, i also am knowledgeable in autocad and have an A.S. degree in applied science.... $10 hr .... what a joke enuff: enuff:

Hey Pete, I totally understand what you are going through that happen to me in January. Have you tried registering with any employment agencies? Sometimes they have jobs that are not advertised and deal directly with head hunters. Look for an agency that does not charge you the fee. This has worked for me in the past, and have always landed great jobs. Although, the temp to hire pay isn't that great, the salary and benefits the company have pan out better. It doesn't hurt to look, they may even have temp jobs in your area of expertise to hold you over and they place you permantly. Look in Tampa, they have more industry than Orlando, also push the AutoCad there is a market for that. Good Luck!:D
