New in racing... but which bike?

Hey all, I'm Blain and I'm stuck on which bike i should be getting.
I'm 16 so I'll be racing a 450 I presume and iv been going off specs basically so I'm looking for some racers with hands on experience.
The question anyway is if the KFX450R is really coming off the factory floor with a running start that matches and in some cases beats all the true race bikes like the YFZ450 and the 450EX.

Hi Blain, welcome to the site. What kind of racing do you plan to do? In any form of racing you want to cover reliability, very important to be able to finish the race.

The Kawi has starting issues, and is basically a brand new bike. Stick with the Honda or Yamaha.

Welcome Blain. I have yet to see a Kawi perform well. Slam1 said it all.
You don't have to get a new one either. I am sure if you ask for what you want in the wanted section, some of the racers that get new machines all the time will be happy to accommodate!
