steering stabilizer question

I just bought a Gibson steering stabilizer for my 08trx450r. I race XC with the SSQSA and the MPCC series. what should the setting be or at least a good starting point for the stabilizer. Is stiffer better for the woods or just have it almost in the middle?

You need to just adj. to what feels comfortable to you everyone is diffrent. Nobody I ride with have the same settings.
