Hey Doug :D Thanks for the offer but the yellow plates look much better on my new plastics than the blue plates would. :p
The anticipation for the first race is killing me...I do best if I just don't think about it  All in all I am stoked...and I believe Phil is revved up and ready to go as well!!!

Man,
I'm so ready.... well........ I'm ready in the sense that I'm anxious as all HELL...... but I have lots to do to my ride.... oil, air filter, chain adj., drain and replace coolant, install REAR # PLATE, pack my gear bag.... and put one of those famous Joe Kirkland wash jobs on her....... ( no really I do wash my ride) and get some beer for the cooler for post race war stories and excuse making.....lol.
Cant wait to meet Phil and Jen. and looking forward to kicking off a SAFE and EXCITING FTR H/S Series.
Take Care and See Ya all on Sat.

O.k.
got it washed today, got my rear plate all taken care of (background+numbers+mounted) looks pretty darn good.... well, thats what the wife and kids said.... Got my new floridaquadriders.com stickers all mounted up.... light coat of WD-40.... even put some red duct tape on the lower rear fenders, You know the spot that the boots rub all the time.... Heck, this whole red+white color scheme looks pretty good....
Just got all the mechanical/maint. stuff to do for the rest of the week... We all need some pics for the website...... action, post race, getting trophies....... That is if we get some trophies.... I'm sure there will be plenty of FQR trophies coming home this weekend..... everyone that I've ridden with all seem plenty talented and fast to me....... just hope I can carry the torch......
See Ya Soon

I'm close to ready just have to put chain and sprockets on jens and get some new lenses and tear offs.
Guess i'll be riding AA this year.I'm going to give it my best ,I can't compete for the win but i should be able to pull down a top five.and that wouldn't be to bad for an old guy like me.
We will be there friday about 8ish. We look forward to seeing everyone again.

Due to make land fall around Jen and Phils house again late saturday into sunday.
Started making final preperation on the quad last night, and its a good thing I did. I have to do a complete carb tare down the dam thing is stuck. So gotta do that first thing this morning.

FTR officials are set to make a call by 4 PM tonight weather we race or not.
Accourding to www.noaa.com things aren't looken to good. Looks to start saturday morning with the outer bands in West Palm area and continue through Monday morning up here in the Jacksonville area.
I am heading to the store here in a matter of minutes to stock up and make sure I am ready once again. AND PRAY THAT IT BOUNCES BACK OUT IN THE ATLANTIC.
