H/S 3 PALATAKA you going?

Went yesterday and got a 45 min massage and was put on a machine that stretched me. And I tell you this was the trick. I have full feeling back in my hands and feet. No more tingling or stiffness.

So I am going to take it easy rest of this week. I might ride a little this weekend but not to hard. And should be at the Palatka race.

I have always really liked Palatka. Weather its wet or try. I had one of my best finishes there on bike. So I am really looking forward to the race. Besides its only 45 min from my house.

A friend of mine is working on the track on Sunday after the Madison race. He told me the track is mostly through cow pastures and some hard roads. They have us running down the roads then thought a section of the woods then back out on to the roads because its too wet is some spots.

From y2k400ex’s report and others, I’m starting to think about it. I just hope its not a mud fest like the GNCC was.

Well if memory serves me correctly that mainly what it has been in the past. Woods section into a feild then into more woods.

But if it is mainly roads. "He who has the biggest motor wins" So amen for the CC restrictions. Cause I have a feeling you wont see Rodgers again till the end.

I did see mention that GNCC was looking for a different location in Florida or a possible change in the schedule of when they might visit. I doubt they change the time frame cause its notorious for being during bike week. And I highly doubt they would go during biketoberfest. Since that is mainly when they are hitting the nothern states of there tour.

Well I wanna say it was a training accident but I cant.

I was doing push ups and all of a sudden I felt a twinge go through my entire body. Well I waited a couple of days thought it might go away but it didnt. I had lil feeling in my Arms and Hands and my Legs and Feet where the worse.(Basically that pins and needles feeling when they fall asleep) Went to the DR and he thought I compressed a vertebre in my back. But thought with time and anti inflamitories it might go away. Well this helped a little but I was still getting the tingling in my hands and feet.

So we waited a week and I went back yesterday to what I thought was going to get a MRI. But I get there and he wanted to try and see if decomprssing it would help. So you get a massage first( and no it wasnt even close to those hotties you see on tv), then they put this belt around you and it fastens to the bottom of the table. And you hold on to these handles above your head and it basically streches your body out.

Well since then I have been feeling fine. I have no tingling at all in my hand or feet. So we'll see this weekend how I feel and judge from there if I race or not. If I do race I will be extremely slow and out of shape. I have basically been on bed rest for a week.

So thanks to Joe Kirkland for keeping my company different times of the day and night and cable tv and internet from keeping me from going crazy. TALK ABOUT CABIN FEVER.

Well there’s really no riding around Jax at all. I mostly ride in the Ocala NF, I know tons of good places to ride out there. A friend of mine has a farm out in Whitehouse about 30 mins from Jax that we have made a couple of tracks out there. It’s been too wet lately it’s just starting to dry out. I have been riding every weekend leading up to the first FTR race, I don't know what I’m doing this weekend yet though. You’re welcome to ride with us as long as you don mind being in a sea of red :D

For Palatka race I don’t know what I’ll be driving in yet... but I’ll let you know

not sure If I'm gonna make it..... coming down with a cold.... and my damn bike is running crappy.... I think its a jetting issue but I've been running the same jetting for months now.... not sure what to think..... gonna work on it some more tomorrow I'll keep ya posted....

As far as the quad goes just keep the jetting the same.
Last weekend a little cold front with no humidity came through and now its gone.
Im leaving mine alone cause its supposed to be in the middle 80's with high humidity.

I ran one race last season with the flu....:(
I heaved 3 times during the day. I managed a 3rd place that day.

So drink a lot water and get some rest....and we'll see ya Sat AM.

Oh and as we speak right now my quad has no A-arms on the front and the bottom new part for my steering stem will be here Fri am and still have to get that to the welders and the quad to the welders and still be put together by Fri night...enuff:

I have a grey 400ex with yellow # plates. With no # on them right now, but does have a B.

There is no telling where we will pit this year. Because it usually changes every time we go.
