It was great seeing you all again.

What a wonderful day of racing. I am very sore today. But thats what I get for not riding in like 2 months. Was doing real good the first lap. And just fell to hell after that. Then the quad just shutting off on me, who knows. But it started back up and I still got to finish.

Once again I got beat by a girl, but she's an animal and deserves every right to kick are butts.

I just finished cleaning the quad. And I think I just gained about 20 lbs of mud in the front yard.

Thanks once again guys.

Doug

P.S. Whoever stole my goggles at the pit area is just PLAIN SORRY!!

Doug glad see ya also, its been a while.
That was a fun course the mud was the funnest.
I got passed all the time in the open fields but the same guys passing me were stuck in the mud later.....ha ha I laughed all the way passed them.

Only got 8th but had a good time, guess I'll just have to get used to going a little faster.

Hope you make it to the next one Doug.

I probably wont go to the next one. Probably be the sleigh ride will be the next FTR one. I might head north for a couple of races.

Got a month before the next FTR then another Month after that.

Hey Yall,
sounds like I missed a good sloppy one..... I wouldnt have been worth a crap.... I never started feeling good till around 6ish last nite.....
SO, I went up to Sand Mt. and raced..... Won the Expert and Vet. classes..... got in 20 laps..... It was cool, all the guys there were like you gonna run with those big ass tires??????? I'm like yeah, gonna give it a shot....... Just slapped on some spacers (front+back) and went at it..... bike ran great...... but I only went there to get some seat time..... Heck, the 20 laps I pulled didnt even begin to tire me out..... And my 2 classes were back to back... So, I didnt get to do the Scramble but I tried to get some seat time..........
Will see you all at the next round...
Take Care
Joe
P.S. lets all go to Croom soon.......

I just got looking at the SANDBAGGER REPORT, I love this thing.

Well wonder how much in postage is going to be paid for those letters moving people up in classes.

And Paul back me up on this one we made and agreement with someone if there times was in the top 5 of B they would move up. Well he would have been 4th.

But dont worry there are alot and I do mean ALOT of sandbaggers out there.

Example if you ran 6 laps and your in a B class or lower YOUR IN THE WRONG CLASS.

Yep I'll back ya up on that...
BUt I would like to see that person go to the banquet and get a reward..
That banquet rocked and if we all could go together like the last race that would be cool.

Parking next to the Gin man is fun the night after the race.

The "Gin Man"...Hmmm...I think I know who that is :D If you are talking about who I think you are talking about - he is a wonderful man and his family is just as great!!!! ;) They are allot of fun to spend time with!! (With or Without the Gin) LoL!!!!!!!!

The scores seemed a little weird...at least when I read the report. My lap times seem slow except for the one lap that was listed @ 14:44....but that seemed fast?? Who knows...the transponder only worked for 3 out of my 5 laps. But, even 17 minute lap times seem odd...I guess I just felt like I was "movin" allot quicker than that. Oh well...there is always next race eyebrows:

That’s one more reason to invest in a pressure washer.....

Right after the start at the 1st mud hole got tangled up with someone, by the time I got free I think was dead last in 0-400 C. After that I just I didn’t have any problems except for others getting stuck in front of me. It was messy but a great layed out course with a little bit of everything. I finished 5th in 0-400C.

I had a freind take some video of all the quad starts, What class is everyone running on here? I'll post those up later tonight.

I didn’t get to meet anyone from here at all this weekend. I'll try to next time.

Racergirl and I are both in the 0-400 B (where the only ones that realy count thought)

500EX and Joey Stankus is in AA

Yamadooski is 401+ A

Mark(Sandbagger) 401+ C

I hope he has a good bit of the start. Cause I was dead last going into the start but by the 3rd Double Green Jen was in 3rd and I was in 4th. Atleast thats how I remember it :D

I think I was more like 5th or 6th into the woods....

It would be neat to see those starts :D

Thats probably right Jen cause after that first hole you went way left and I went way right and I came out almost hitting you and that put you in 2nd and me in 3rd. But hey I can dream a little more cant I.

Thats why I like the mud. Its and equalizer. You might be very fast but you take a bad line in the mud and its all over. Notice I said mud not LAKES.

The Mud was not as bad as I though it was gonna be... Don't get me wrong..it was bad but I only got stuck once...for a short period of time....As long as you kept a steady momentum you could get through it.

Althought the mud killed my eyes.... I ripped all my tear-offs at once on accident in the first couple of miles. So, I had to take my goggles off...I have never had clumps of mud come out of my eyes before... They hurt pretty bad for the past couple days...But they are feeling MUCH better today.

I know how you feel Jen.
The mud came out of my eye in clumps in one of the GNCC races I went to.
Its amazing I still have good vision.

I have looked at it enough times and I think Jen you are 5th going into the woods and im 6th.

I can tell one thing I really need to work on my starts. When you look at the video im on the far right. I started with it in 2nd gear. But should have practiced it a couple of times. Cause when I ran to the quad I shifted down not thinking and put it back into 1st.

Doug

We need to get your buddy a tripod.

Best way to view it Jen is right click on the one you want. Save target as, then put it in your documents and just go there and view it. If you just click on the link it will take about a minute to download to the player. So it looks like its not playing but its downloading.

Thanks Doug...that worked.

I need to get better starts...It looks like I get to the bike quick enough...I just don't get going as fast. Oh well...you can't win an hour and a half race at the start :D

I am already looking forward to the next one...I plan on riding with Phil twice a week to keep in shape. Plus...he has lots of good pointers for me!!! :D

I totally messed up my start, I had my key turned off enuff: I remembered it when the starter said 15 seconds. I managed to get it started fairly quickly and was able to pick up 4 positions before I hit the woods. I can tell I’m getting faster each race :)

I have some more videos and pics but I haven't had a chance to look at them yet if theres anything good I'll post it

Oh oK.
Cause we tried to get sponsored by Bates RV and they said they already sell a lot trailers and didnt need to sponsor anyone.
I went to American Monday and looked at the Haulmark that was already done up on the inside.
Its only 12,000.
Now to convince the wife with the checkbook to go get for us..eyebrows:
