Looking at 250R

A friend of my cousin has a 1987 TRX250R he is trying to sell for $2000.00 he said it is clean and stock, is that a good price if it is in good shape? My daughter has outgrown her blaster so i might start another project with it.enuff:

I think it sounds good if it is not bent. All the things out there to modify/fix/replace still easy to find?
I, too am looking for a new quad. Insurance co. totaled mine.
