Jan 10-11 in Polk City, FL
Check out the events page for the flyer
I should be there mid to late day on friday with the RV so if anyone needs a warm or cool place to stay with all the amenities let me know I have 2 beds not getting used. Plus plenty of room for blow up mattress or sleeping bags.
Remember this is a AMA event so you must have a AMA membership or they will be available there at the FTR race for $39 for the year.
I am hoping just to finish this time without breaking. Havent been riding so im out of shape for not doing anything for a month but eating :D
Usually all of us from this board park together so keep your eyes out for the WWW.FLORIDAQUADRIDERS.COM stickers on are vehicles.

If you could, take some of that Moose tape you have and rope us off a half acre or so!:D (inside joke) I'll be sleeping at the house Friday night and heading out in the morning. If you can Doug, save us a spot. I'll be in my white truck (the hillbilly wagon as my middle one calls it) with the small trailer. Last time I talked to Dooski he said he would be there. I'm sure he'll be showing up Sat. morning also.
Like Doug said, anyone out there stop by.
See You Girls Saturday!:D
Can't wait,
Mark
1/2 acre for each of us right?1.5 total.
Must be nice to have races in your back yard where you can just get up and drive to the races that morning. I only have 3 like that(Plantation,Hardrock,Gatorback).
I think I am going to miss out on the ockechobee race. Thats a 6-7 hour drive for me. Hell I can race 4-5 GNCC races that are closer than that.
Speaking of GNCC anyone going to TX?
It looks like its a 10 hour drive for me. Yes I know I just complained about driving 6 but thats not the GNCC either. Looking to race 9 races for the Amateur Series. Think im going to race the Junior class 25+.
BTW if anyone uses the new MAPQUEST IT SUCKS. You cant inlarge the picture or add multiple locations.

Hi Doug,
Just wanted you to know that I have a good program for traveling...Microsoft Streets and Trips. I will get ya a copy and bring it to the race this weekend.
We will be looking for ya Friday night...PM Phil your cell # so we can pit near ya.
Phil will be bringing the spare bike, so if anything is needed last minute you won't be without a ride!! Phil has had a bad streak of "no luck"...he crashed last weekend (trying to keep up w/ me...LoL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) He is almost healed from that but now he is pretty sick so he may be a spectator this weekend :o)
I am looking forward to the GNCC in March :o) I hope to be able to make it to more but we will see.
Talk to ya later

If things stay the way they are it looks like it's going to be real dusty. I'm probably about 20 to 25 miles (as the crow flies) away from the property and it is very dry around here. I took a few of laps on the small track I have behind my house and by lap 3 I could hardly see. The dust just kind of hung there. There's a 50% chance of rain for tomorrow (Friday). Hope it comes, we need it.
Just a little heads up.
See everyone Saturday!
Mark
