Since most of you in here already compete in FTR events I won't bother going into detail about the new proposed Quad Scrambles Series.

What I see is Florida Quad riders now have two choices for Hare Scrambles styled events.

1. You can continue to compete in the current Hare Scrambles Series wanting more time (2 hour events), more classes (Peewee, youth, beginner, utility, etc.), courses better suited to your machines, with no possible way to get there given the current available time and manpower, all the while feeling like orphaned children, or;

2. You can help build the new proposed Quad Scrambles Series into something that can give you all these things.

It will take commitment from Quad riders!

Personaly I don't see the long term future getting any better for you in the current series, in fact, I see it getting worse.
There are many that would do away with Quads altogether. I don't see that as a positive thing for FTR. The sales, growth in popularity, and access to riding areas make the proposed series a 'shoe in' for success.
What it will take to survive is participation in the early stages. Clubs are willing to hold events, five have already gotten in line to do so, even before an official series has begun, why? Because they know the potential for the growth and want to be in on the ground floor. If they get reasonable participation they will continue and new clubs will join in.
It's time to start getting the word out, there's a new game in town!

You have right now the ability to create what could become one of the 'premier' Quad only woods racing series in the world!

Just do it!!

Hey there Mike,

Could you please give all reading this thread a heads up on the contact numbers and names for those clubs doing the quad scrambles I agree with the potential for what is being started and just want to see it have a fighting chance from the get go, the more imfo the better, RIGHT!

This really is an awesome opurtunity for all quad riders and I hope we all take it alot more serious and realize that a little help from all is better then a lot of help from a few.

My father and I have tried to help on work days a couple of times and were told we didnt belong to the club and therefore couldnt help, one of them was sadre if I am not mistaken.

I hope this is what will not occur with the clubs involved and then to later hear no one will help so no more quad scrambles.

SADRA is the first club.
They are a large club, join them, they're in your area.

River City Dirt Riders is next, they have made it clear they want help. (Madison, Cherry Lake)

Big Scrub Trail Riders (Gatorback) they'll take help.

Central Florida Trail Riders (home of Quad rider Mark Campbell who will most likely be your new Referee) he'll put you to work!

SouthWest Florida Trail Riders, we'll take your help down in Clewiston.

Contact #'s are on the FTR web-page and in the magazine.
