And I'll try to hit as many races as possible on eather series, have to get in more practice so I'll be on a good shape
I no but It seems like runing for a title in 5 races is kinda gay when there is gonna be 14 races for that!! thats why im runing quad series for practice!!!

Nick, your spelling is horrible! I almost need a translator! lol!! A 5 race series is better than a no race series. It's just the beginning. The year after will be different with more clubs hosting. What's gay is you not embracing the quads only series and at least trying to take it seriously. It boggles my mind as to why you want to slam the best thing that ever happened to quads?? "I'm just going to it for practice" Now that's gay. C'mon Nick. You have the opportunity to be apart of something big. I am glad to be a part of the inaugural quads only season.
What would really be neat is to see the whole thing blow up. I would love to see Hare scramble, drag racing and 4x4 mud pit racing for a well rounded weekend of quad racing. THAT would be neat.
As for 2 hrs,I remember seeing a lot of riders either quitting or on the side of the course looking pale and pukey when we ran 2 hrs. Wait... that was me.
We are going to run as many as possible this coming season. My friend Will bought quads for his whole family so they all can compete.
Willis, I'd come down and ride with you but I know you need somebody pushing you.
I just found out Bombardier is coming out with a 60hp 2 stroke, GNCC style, racer. It will be in about 6 months, though. So I'll be on the moose until then.
Yah Brian Im down for the Qaud series.. But thats not gonna be my main thing for a championship!!! The normal series will be, thats all that iam saying.... Not trying to knock it at all it's just that I wont be runing it for a chapionship thats all..

Why do the quad races have to be 2 days??? We are use to race on Sat. Why change it. GNCC does all quads in 1 day. sign up fri. late afternoon, sign up sat. AM. Kids race 8:00 to 9:??? AM Quad race Start 10:00 Pm Quad race 1:00 Then the poker run or fun run for everyone else at 5:00. Camping Sat. night. Riding for all on Sun. AM to help clean the track of markers and ribbon. The long trips home on Sunday night will keep lots of racers away.
2 Wheelers have always been use to racing Sunday, We are not.
We are the ones that get off work Fri. drive all over FL. race Sat. party Sat. night or BS until tropheys then go home. This is how all us Quad people know each other. If this Quad series is going to work the Quad people need to take control of this from FTR. Not sure how but if it is giong to be our series lets have it how we want it!!???

jhvmat,
The Series can evolve into whatever you want to make it.
You can start by getting involved yourself.
Volunteer to be a Competition Committee member.
Join a club and help put on an event.

Mike,
I looked in the rulebook and the contact info, and other areas on the FTR site, but I cannot find what I am looking for. Since you brought it up, I'll go ahead and ask you. What members does the Competition Committee consist of? I am not even sure what positions are available to apply for. Are reps part of the voting party on the comittee? Are they even part of the committee? I've been wanting to ask this question, but I was afraid it had already been asked before, so I didn't want to ask again.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Amanda.

Excellent question,
The Quad Scrambles Series Competition Committee will consist of,
. Chairman (this person will automaticaly become a FTR Executive Committee member also)(I believe Kim Windland has stepped up)
. Referee(Mark Cambell has stepped up)
. Scorekeeper
. A Rider Rep.
. B Rider Rep.
. C Rider Rep.
. Specialty Rider Rep. (Vet, Sr., SSr. Master, Women)
. Youth Rider Rep.
. A Representative from each club given a Sanction to hold an event.
This compromises the entire Committee. The Chairman reserves their vote to make or break a tie vote of the remaining members.
All others have an equal vote regarding all matters at any Committee meeting.
All Competition Committee meetings are governed by 'Roberts Rules of Order' and can be called as the need arises.
Any rule changes follow the same procedures as any other FTR committee.
The Chairman reserves the right to appoint the Referee and the Scorekeeper.
Promoting clubs assign anyone they wish from their club to vote.(can name more than one member but only one member may vote at any meeting)
The Rider Reps. are nominated by the Chairman and Confirmed by the FTR Executive Committee. (usually whoever will do it)
