That was the best course so far this year!.
I hope Okee is the same.
Mark you got your wish and got some rain.
I hope you can make it to the next one.
>>Paul>>
Your right that was a good race. And I actually finished. Way back in the pack but I did finish. And being able to watch yokley out there flying around and how fast he is, man that was a treat in itself.
The course well, there where 2 perticular trees I would have love to remove. But other than that the course was nice.
They say they hope to have there H/S again there next year. Well if they do im staying at Disney World and driving down. Its only 20 miles up the road.
Ochechobee, hmmm....... I think I am just going to have to miss it. Thats a long long ways to go. If anything changes I will let you know, but as of right now I doubt I will go. And if I do go its going to be quad in the back of the truck without the trailer.
Also I am riding in the QUAD WARS at the Monster truck jam in Tampa next weekend. And they give me 2 tickets to give out. If anyone wants them let me know. So you can come and root me on. Also looking for a hotel down close to Ybor city area. Its me and the wife aniversary so where going to go have a good time afterwards down there. Hopefully it will be a little warmer than this past weekend.

What are you going to do with the quad for Quad wars while you are in the hotel.
I would not leave it in the back of your truck while in Ybor.
Let me know and I can pick it up at the stadium and take it to my house while you are dowm there.
We have pit passes that let us go anywheres.

Nice course! A very good example of how it can be done. Lots of places for people to watch and the trail had mix of everything the Florida terrain could throw at ya. As much as I dislike running thru palmetto’s, I'm glad the club put included that section. Wouldn't be a Florida race without'em! Good Job!
Anyone get any pictures of Yokely? If so post'em!
Also, has anyone heard any updates on Jennifer A.? Last I heard she dislocated her shoulder. She was flyin out there. She caught me in no time and I gladly waved her by. Hope all is well.
Mark
Jenn update
She has some pulled muscles in her shoulder but she is hoping to be better for the next race. Either way she still flys hurt or 100%.
Mark how did you end up? I looked at the results but dont remember your name sticking out. Course it was cold and I wanted back to my trailer.

Good to hear it's nothing major. Any idea of what hapened? I think we need to talk to Phil and maybee he can get her to slow down a bit. (for her own safety of course) :D She's making us slow guys look bad out there.
I ended up 5th. (dooski beet me to the reply:) ) I'm happy with it. I run my but off and got to pass a couple of B riders. had a good time!
how did you end up?

Thanks! Sandbaggers or not, that's just the competition in the C class. Just something you have to deal with unless your in the A class. I had a blast runing it!
I am going to try and ride 3 hours every other day to try and get in better shape for GNCC since those are 3 hour races. I do good for about the first 30 min and decent the next 15 and im dead by the hour mark. And damn I need me a steering stabalizer.
Give me a heads up where you going in ONF on monday. I have never ridden down in the southern (BIG SCRUBB) area. Usually ride up towards Rodman Dam area. Buddy has a cabin up there so usually stay and ride out of there.

Hey Mark / Doug,
All is going all well as can be expected...The ER doctors told me that I just did "soft tissue" damage...bruising to my shoulder. I am moving it better now than I was yesterday but it is still very tender and sore.
I was half way through my last lap...or what turned out to be last lap and I hit a tree, got tossed off and into another tree. I landed with my head, neck, and shoulders...if you can picture that...Lol!!!!:p After gainig my senses I realized the bike had rolled over on top of me and I couldn't move it, or get out from under it. Just about that time Yokley came by but he had a hard time getting it off me...and then came Brian Knighten who helped :) I decided that I had run to good of a race to quit so I rode the rest of the course back in 1st and 2nd gear. I had am emotional overload at the finish...LoL!!!!
Well, it was my best race this season...It helps the pain ;) I just hope I can keep improving throughout the rest of the season. Phil fixed my bike tonight..bent tie rod and my tire came off the bead from the impact.
Mark...thanks for the "quick" pull over...some people just want to hold ya up and take their time....I appreciate it :o)
Doug...hope you didn't hurt the bike or yourself when you hit that tree...I didn't scare ya that bad did I????????? LoL!!!
Oh well...take care guys. I will see ya at the next race...
Jennifer
Yeah that was me holding you up. And when I looked up and seen you coming I just tried to jerk it in the woods. out of her way. She wasnt only crying at the end she was yelling at me GET THAT POS out of my way im riding here. HAHA Good luck Jen and hope you get better had alot of people asking about you on sunday. And I have no clue who got your trophy. I went to get it and they said some short guy had some up and got it already so I hope you get it.

Jen where is Malabar?
Man if you want to practice with us on the weekends that would be cool.
It would be cool to have a girl ride with us that can keep up with us.
We all ride in B class.
Doug I would love to get up to the Rodman dam area and ride.
There are a lot guys that ride there and say its nice.
<<Paul>>
Malabar is over there on the east coast just south of melbourne. I hear they have a nice course right by there house. I think one of these non-race weekends I might head down there and get my butt kicked by a girl.

LoL!!!
Doug...you are to much. Hey...I have gotten better by following my hubby....although it isn't but 3 seconds before he dusts me...following someone faster only makes you better!!! Sometimes he lets me lead and when I think I am doing well he gives me a little "love" tap...just to remind me that he is there...LoL!!!!
We all should get together and ride...we will just have to pick a weekend and get together. Like Phil said Doug...we live on an acre and you can park your motor home at our place. I know Phil is riding this weekend. I don't think I will be quite up to it, I am just hoping to be able to race in 2 weeks. But you are doing the quad wars right??
Paul...what number are you??? How did you do this past weekend??
