I will be there. I hope we get another 10" of rain.
The muddier the better.
I prevail in mud not dust.
Yah give a big thumbs up for 2 strokes and mud.

Hey Dooski-more power to ya in the mud!! :D
I don't care for dust...BUT...I hate deep mud. I remember the Venice race last year, I got stuck 4 times in the last lap-it was awful!!!! If I had to chose then I would opt for dust...ONLY...because I don't have a huge class and if I get an okay start then I don't have a big dust issue until I catch up with some of the other classes and once I weed through them I am usually dust free by the last half of the 2nd lap.
Whatever shape the course is in...I am ready to race!!! eyebrows:

Ya Im ready too.
I only need to get my kick starter fixed and I will be ok.
Ive been waiting for a spring from Honda for 6 weeks now.
I can get it started but not fast enough to get the holeshot.
That means I have to play catch up. Which is fun!
So Doug showing up at this one?
I know Mark is holding out till GNCC.
Jen and Hubby what do you guys drive? Camper? RV?
Like to come and meet you guys/gals.
I still havent made up my mind yet. I have a chance to make some money this weekend if I dont. And my tailbone is still hurting me when I sit or stand. But I have to get some more seat time. Been busy with a navy contract so havent been able to ride. But i'll let you guys know. If I do come, I think ill just come down saturday morning.

Well maybe if you do come and dont race how about taking some video of the quad race. My wife is limited to how much she can do since she has a 4 yr old to watch too.
I would like to get a helmet cam someday. you dont have one of those lying around do ya?
I would like to show the wifey what it looks like to actually race.
She yells at me to go faster ...enuff:

Jen,
We will come and meet ya.
If for some reason cant find ya. Have a good race.
Well,
I was helped out with my decision yesterday. I wont be at the race this weekend. I was given another 2 day contract for the navy. Right now they havent decided weather its FRI-SAT, SAT-SUN, or SUN-MON. So if its sun-mon I will still come but I highly doubt it. Good luck this weekend and be safe.
So it looks like Gatorback in 2 weeks then the GNCC the week after. Man if you get a chance check out the pics from TX on www.exriders.com.
Also if you own a Cannondale (PETE) or anyone that is kind enough. Send your new manufacture ATK a letter telling them you would love to have me, (DOUGLAS PARKER) as your rep. I talked to them again yesterday and they say should be another week before they make a decision.

Doug,
What do you do to get a Navy contract?
I am working with a welding inspection company. Sub-contracted by the ship building company. Where looking for for weak pipes. And trust me some of these old ships have them. The JFK just got back so where going back on board.
The company I work for was contacted by the ship builder wich is under contract with the navy. And they pay on these job are VERY NICE. So its easy work and very hard to pass up. But the days are long usually 12-14 hour days.
