WOW,
yep thats me..... were you there Mark???? It looks like that was either practice, or my worst moto. to date..... I won Moto 2, but like a bone head I stalled it off the start (well, I cant call it a rookie mistake, just a serious brain fart) everyone was leaving the first turn when I got started....... worked back up to 4th, almost got 3rd at the fininsh line....just needed a foot more track at the flag...... O.k. O.k. enuff of my excuses, thats racing... Ya cant win them all........
So I hope that these pics were taken by someone else, gonna be disappointed if you were at the races and didnt come by to say "Hi" and check out those cool floridaquadriders.com stickers that ya gave me which I proudly fly..... actually the guy on the other white 450 behind me has the stickers that I handed out a few weeks ago...... We Representing...........
Anyhoo, my win in Moto 2 gave me 2nd overall......Props to my lifelong race buddy Rick Hines for the win in Moto 1 and keeping me honest in Moto 2, and his 1st overall at Sand Mt.... Great job Rick.......... I still have a 30 point lead in the series....

Yea man, me and the wife was there. Was kind of a last minute idea to go. We got there kinda late. Got to catch probably the last half of the first heat races. We went thru the pits and I didn't see your bike. Figured you were out playin in the sand.

I wasn't feeling real good so we ended up leaving after the first couple of races in the second heat.

Next time I'll get a hold of ya in advance and we'll meet up. Was looking forward to meeting ya.

I didn't see what happened on your start (I don't know what I was doing, but I missed it. Probably screwing with the camera.). I did get to see you race your way back up thru the pack. You done good man! Wish I could of hung around for the second race.

That first pict is from the first race. I've got more but they're not that good. I need a new camera Bad! I'll post more of the better ones and if you want the rest I can e-mail them to ya.

I think this is from the Sportsman class. I don't know who he is but he lost his rear fenders and seat a lap or two into the race. It has got to be tough runing that track with no seat.

I dont think thats JOE, that guy looks to fast for him. I hear he won all his races by being the only person in his class. He says he wont race another H/S again cause he's SCARED. HAHA Congrats Joe, would sure love to see you at Gatorback or possibly the GNCC.

Hey Mark,
it looks like from where you took the pics. I was in that big group off to the right of you just past the big sand mound on the south side of the track..... EZ up with like 3 450's, Rick's Predator, 2 Raptors, and a couple of dirt bikes.....
Pics are good man, sorry you werent feeling good.. hope you arent getting that flu stuff, it sucks.......
Hope to meet up with ya next time..... that would be great..
