View Full Version : GNCC... What's Everyone's Plans?
Looks like we will be heading up Saturday morning to get signed up and run practice. It would be nice for all of us to be able to park together and hopefully I can get one of you fine, fine, outstanding folks to baby sit my trailer while we find a hotel room Sat. night. (No way I'm camping out in a tent with a baby!)
I've been looking at the different classes and I'm pretty sure I'm going to enter 33+ 4stk C. It should be an experience since I haven’t had any hard seat time since the Polk City race. But I will finish, and I'm shooting for not last! :D
Just wanting to know what everyone's plans are.
Mark
Still dont know if im going to be able to make it or not. Should know by wed or thurs. And I gotta find out what is wrong with this quad again. But Paul will be happy its raining and suppose to rain through thurs. So remembrance of last year is coming back to me. Either way if im off and the quad is fixed im riding. Mud or dry no matter to me, anything has to be better than that course this past weekend.
Hopefully there will be no more "DITCH FROM HELL"

Hey ye all,
We will get there around 11am.
Jen and Phil,
Do you guys have a cell #. If so PM with it so when you get there you can call me and I will come and get you guys.
Im gonna try and pit along the straight away where its always muddy.
When you come through the gate go up to the second left and Im gonna try to be on the right just before you go into the back field.
Mark and Doug I have your numbers so we can coordinate.
Im gonna take some stakes and rope off a huge area with yellow tape.
Look at all this rain coming down....:D
Doug, Have you checked the fuses right above the solinoid beside the Battery? Just a thought. There is two of them under a little cover.
yep checked those. I'm heading to my buddy shop tomorrow to see if he can help me out. I have a feeling it might be something that wont be fixed before this weekend. Cause the motor shortly before was starting to make a tinking noise when you wasnt on the gas. But if you where on it, it went away. And I was losing power. Seemed like the more throttle I grabbed the slower it would go. Also the ground wire had come off. But I forced that back in so it still had a ground. Hopefully tomorrow ill have some answers.

oooohh, I never thought about that. I just assumed a lap around the course. Anyone know what they did in Texas?
Its usually not the complete course, but your allowed to do as many laps as you want in the time alloted. But dont be surprised if its only 3-4 miles.

i waas talking to a buddy of mine who runs 4 stroke A and said that they usually dont have practice (already knew that) but when they do, it isnt on the "race course" the practice isnt for the race itself, it is because alot of people are on new machines and it is more of a machine test session than a practice,
thats what Yoakley told me at the polk city race,
Mark, where in lakeland are you, i am also in lakeland

They only run practice at the Florida race only.
Its only about 4 miles and thats what we did last year.
They use only part of the course.
Last years one lap was I think 9 miles or 13 miles.
